Only thing was the intermittent wifi connection.

Very clean and cozy. Extremely helpful staff who went out of their way to please. All that is required was supplied. Loved it. Thank you both.

We were there only for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Location was superb, the accommodation was great. We liked the small details/gestures the hosts provide. The whole boat has a nice homely feel and it was truly our home away from home. Can tell the hosts want everyone to feel comfortable during their stay.

One downside would be the cold bed, it would be good if you request the host to warm up the room; otherwise, I enjoyed the stay.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at B&B Unitas, the place is clean and the host is friendly as well. It was my first boat stay so I am not sure what to expect. I went to Netherlands for a school exchange and is really great that I have such an unforgettable experience.

This property would have had a higher rating for comfort, but my husband is 6'4" and could not completely stand up.

Breakfast was fine. Location offered easy access to the train and if you are leaving on a cruise it is ideal.

Minor point, but be aware that because it is a boat any noise from adjacent room is very apparent, and obviously vise versa.

Unique property, fascinating boat, great way to stay in Rotterdam. Obliging host

The facilities are good, the bathroom is a bit pokey as you would expect on a boat but the shower was good and it all worked fine. The folding beds were comfortable and the kitchen area had everything we needed, though we went out to eat anyway. The location in a quiet dock is a couple of miles from the city centre, but there's a tram stop just a 5 minute walk away and metro stop about 10 minutes away.

I'm 193cm tall. The shower cubicle is much shorter. It wasn't that I didn't like it. It's certainly something to be aware of. Actually, looking back, there's nothing I didn't like. The gangplank is a metal grill. I didn't like carrying my dog Panda over it.

The boat hotel is quaint, friendly and located close to Rotterdam Zuid train station. My dog and I slept like logs. The breakfast was delicious and hearty. The surrounding area is great for a wander. Plenty of shops are around a corner. It's an idyllic hotel. I wouldn't swap the experience for any other hotel. Thank you kindly. Panda and I stayed at this dog friendly hotel, en route to Rotterdam Europoort, having landed at Amsterdam that morning. The hotel helped arrange a taxi too.

The size of the room is fine for the price and the fact that it’s an house boat. But you have to be aware of this, especially if you’re a tall person.

It’s a pretty location. The host was very nice and had a lot of service to offer.

The internet was rather slow, but this was a minor issue in an otherwise wonderful stay.

This is an amazing experience to stay on an historic working boat. We entered our room via the wheelhouse and descended into a pretty, wood-paneled space. Very comfortable. There is a small kitchen (stove, refrigerator), so that one can self-cater, but you can also pay for them to deliver a lovely full basket of breakfast items, including warm bread and boiled eggs. We enjoyed our experience very much.

They didn’t come to clean the room at all and I was there for 10 days. It would have been helpful to have a broom to clean up a bit myself.

I liked that there was a stove, dishes, refrigerator and a way to prepare my own meals. This was very convenient.

Owner has a problem about leaving apartament after midnight, you can't go even smoke, you need to be just inside, his letter to us " when you come on the boat you must stay inside, be quiet and go to the bed" like sorry but wtf?? Almost 600€ for one week without breakfast and you can't even go out when you want. Apartament is also really small and I don't even talk about the bathroom, ceiling in the shower is maybe 170cm high and if you want warm watter you need to wait.It did not meet our expectations at all, sorry. Not recommend for young people!

There are a few things you should know beforehand: 1. B&B but breakfast is extra, it costs €12.5 per adult and half price for a toddler. 2. The owners live on the same ship. They do not come into the guest area, but I could hear everything from conversations to the dog's footsteps. 3. Most importantly, the information on Google Maps is currently correct! The owner told us in advance that the correct description of the location and that the information on Google Maps was incorrect. However, the English in the description was not quite accurate and the street names shown were very confusing as we didn't know they were street names. We lost valuable time trying to find the ship.

I (1.95) couldn't stand upright. Understandable, but uncomfortable. Furthermore very noisy. I could hear the neighbours talking, walking and doing their business clearly.

Nice to sleep on a boat for a change. Good location in the city.

A unique experience and pleasant stay on the B&B Unitas!
    • Leisure trip

We would have liked a cooler bedroom, either by installing a fan or mini aircon device as it was almost impossible to get to sleep when no air or hardly any air was coming in through the portholes. Apart from that and the lack of a door on the toilet, we there wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay on the Unitas.

The location was perfect, just around the corner from our Aunt we came to visit. The weather was glorious, about 28C and we had some difficulty sleeping as the room was very warm. My daughter was not happy with the lack of a door on the toilet/shower room, I wasn't overly bothered about that. We were only on an overnight stay and being used to camping holidays, staying on a boat with limited space, was not bothering me as much as it was my daughter!
