How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

For the price it's ok, just doing something for the cockroach, I only got one but that spoils the stay. The air con is pretty noisy too. Without the roach I would have given it a 8 for a short stay

Bugs in the room, shower head would not stay attached to the wall when turned on, made having a shower very challenging

There is no sink, mirror, etc. The bed is not that comfortable, especially its bed sheet. No lock in the comfortroom and not so clean. They also didnt give us the keys.

The matress is quite bad, i think you guys should replace it. And the TV was to high, we coudnt see much when we were laying at bed. Overall, its nice and friendly budget for couple and single travellers. But please install a wifi connection. The signal inside is quite bad.

The way the receptionist handle our concerns. We already stayed there for 3 days. I booked again for another 5 days. I want to stay but the receptionist is not good in dealing with our concerns.... We are about to pay, but then the receptionist told us to get our things since she said we need to check in again. What kind of a receptionist is that? I mean I just can't understand why we need to get our things and checkin again???? The difference is just 2 hours??? We just have to leave our things inside and wait since we are going to stay again for a week according to our booking. I have booked for 1 week ( May 4 to 8, 2024). But I cancelled since we have not been dealt properly in this hotel which is so sad. Receptionist should deal with customers properly. Since I have booked for 4-5 days, then I don't think we need to stay out of room with our things and checkin. All we need is pay... I AM REALLY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS hotel, especially with the receptionist. She is very impolite. She don't know how to deal properly with customers. I have been to almost all of the hotels in Cubao like Sogo, Spring, Astrotel, Nice, Walnut, etc... but only here in this hotel I experienced such kind of treatment...
