For whatever reason someone thought it qould be great idea to put some iron decoration over bed head, so whenever you touch it, it starts to resonate. So during night you were essentially ringing bells. Additionally we could hear neighbours above us stomping, almost to level you are afraid they will fall through.

The only minor issue is opening and locking the apartment door it’s difficult to get the key to turn but with a bit of commitment you will find the sweet spot.

The host was very helpful, all the details of how to access apartment was shared before and was very easy. The apartment is exactly like on pictures, all the facilities worked perfectly, it is light and very comfortable. The location is great as well, next to the metro and very central. Check in was not until 1600, (this was quite late compared to all our other accommodation) and time set so we could not access earlier.

The apartment was clean and modern, with everything required for a short stay. A great location as we could walk to shops, restaurants and many of the local attractions.

Great communication. Our flight was delayed but I was able to checkin late by 0030 without any hassles. Welcome bottle of wine! Location is just a few minutes' walk from Metro and buses. A small grocery store is practically located across the property. A hidden gem in Porto.

The only thing is if you’re a light sleeper, the street is very quiet but you can hear guests moving around in the upstairs apartments with the floorboards, but perfect otherwise.

The property was beautiful and very conveniently located, with lovely personal touches and the host was excellent to get in contact with. Everything you needed was in the apartment and it was a carefully thought out space. We were really comfortable there and would highly recommend it!

The half bathroom had a sulphur smell, possibly from lack of use. The loft rooms are very comfortable but you have to be careful you don't hit your head. Just takes some getting use to!

Stop searching, this is the one! The Birds apartments are perfectly located near the perimeter of the Old Town. The apartment itself was well equipped, very bright and airy and tastefully decorated.

Absolutely the best apartment ever - perfect location, 100 meters away from the metro station. The apartment is perfect for 6+ people and is very well furnished. We had a great check-in experience. Some important items were missing, such as basic dishwashing supplies, and the shampoos in tiny bottles were not enough for two people for three nights. The bathroom sink was tiny, and the walls were too thin, resulting in excessive noise. You could literally hear everything happening in the corridor and upstairs, even if people weren't loud; every motion and step was audible.

We stayed for a week and I have to say that although the apartment has the basics of what you need for a few days there were a number of things that let it down. We stayed in the green bird apartment and it was quite noisy from the people walking about in the apartment above us, which you hear a lot. The bed is by the entrance door and again anyone walking up and down the stairs is noisy. The bed itself was very firm, and believe me I like a firm bed, but it wasn't the most comfortable. A light weight duvet was provided so not the warmest in Jan/Feb nights. We solved this by putting warm air on from the AC. The sofa/sofa bed in the living room area was very uncomfortable. We didn't spend much time sitting as we were out and about but it would have been nice to sit somewhere more comfortable after long days of walking... especially in Porto.
