A bit of a mix up at the beginning when we only got our room setup for one person. I feel like this shouldn't happen in a 5 star hotel. No other special things we didn't like

The hotel was good value for money. We loved the terrace and the free first refill of the minibar. Despite the fact that it is an older hotel with a more classic design, the hotel looks well maintained. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The location is good and the room with the sea view was a good choice for only 8 additional EUR.

You can't order drink directly from the pool. Cleaning lady tries to enter in the room without knocking.

I don't know why the bad reviews for this hotel, how much agen? 7.8? I forgot, in short, I decided to give it a chance, well, next time I’m in Portorož i’ll stay here.

the lobby is absolutely wonderful, from it you step into the dining area, from which a beautiful view of the bay opens up. I was very satisfied with the room, it was clean and tastefully furnished, view from 6 floor is just wow. About breakfast, all you can wish for.

in three days only 1 receptionist said hello when we made eye contact. in other hotels the receptionists were more welcoming. You cant leave mayonase unrefrigirated on a plate for a few hours and expect guests to eat it. Rooms NEED TO GET RENOVATED they are old only the bathroom is pleasent. TV is miniature I couldnt watch it at night

Perfect Location , Hotel has very good potential needs to be renovated i dont think much work has been done since the 90s, Hotel entrance is Fabolus, the back terrace of the Hotel has an amazing wiev, and the balcony have also a perfect view over the city and the coast, very good breakfeast

Main outdoor pool was unexpectedly closed from the 18 September. I paid for the room and use of the pool for the whole of the period and I felt we did I not get blue for money for the time we were there. There was no mention on booking.com that the pool would be closed half way through our stay. Also the bar in the evening was meant to be open until 11 pm but I could not get served after 10:45 as the assistant had cashed up early every night. Coffee was also not available after 10 pm for some reason, totally unacceptable.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Bedroom was an excellent size and location was as expected as we had stayed at the hotel before.

Breckfast was very good, plenty of fresh food and options. Our room was superb it was facing the casino entrance side so some noise but did not bother us. The pools were amazing and views absolutely stunning. Reception bright and spacious. Staff at times were a bit abrupt and uninterested. We loved our stay and loved portoroz we will be back for sure.

Certain areas of the hotel could do with an upgrade or an update. The indoor pool is dated, jacuzzi tubs aren't working, the floors between the indoor pool and spa are incredibly slippery - a real danger. Parking can't be reserved in advance, and although we were lucky, and there were free spots in the hotel parking, this could have been an inconvenience.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, it has all the amenities you'd expect in a 5* hotel, the food is rather good, the spa nice, the staff is amazing - kind, friendly, really looking to help and upgrade your experience. The rooms are lovely and comfy, and our sea view was absolutely gorgeous. The location is as good as any in Portoroz, it's a tiny place, but it's convenient that you have several stores right in front of the hotel.

I really loved the location, the sea view from the room and the pool. The staff was friendly. Rich selection of food at the buffet. Sound proof walls were excellent as there were parties at the beach, but we didn’t hear anything.

Food: really not a great variety and quality. Would like to see more options on grill, more different veggies as side-dishes, some fresh vegetables with salami/cheese choices at breakfast. Free tap water with dinner please!

Staff was kind and smiley, very nice and spacious family room with great view. Easy parking in a garage nearby (charges apply). As for food I like that fact that some elements of Slovene cousine were incorporated in the menu (like gibanica, kremšnita for desert or different types of porridges (kaša) for breakfast, štruklji etc. Plant based milk with breakfast - thank you.

You don't have fresh vegetables for breakfast, the room cleaning wasn't made everytime.

The location of the hotel is spectacular, the breakfast and the dinner was great, the outside and inside pool was also great, nearby the sea. The staff speaks english, Italian, some of them, also german.
