Only minor gripe was that in the bathroom there was only a bathtub with no shower curtain, so it was a little difficult to take a shower without the bathroom getting wet.

The castle with its surroundings was a sight to be seen, a very atmospheric and memorable place. Inside it was clean and the room was spacy. We had a two storey tower room, and there were views to four directions through the windows. The staff was friendly. The restaurant's food was great. The breakfast was good but not the vastest of selection.

The beds were broad and long enough, but mattress was a little bit too firm for our taste. But we slept well.

To stay in the hotel made us feel like a royal family. The location of the castle is fantastic. Quietness and peace. Our granddaughter enjoyed it the most. A mug of hot chocolate was served to her every morning by a pleasant waitress. The wellness area is a great spot. We will come back again soon.

Everything was perfect.

Its an absolute dream. Every little detail in this hotel is taken care off, which makes you feel really pampared. I particularly loved our deluxe room and the wellness area. I would even recommend just to drive here for a weekend getaway and not going out of the hotel at all to fully enjoy it.

Very fancy castle hotel with great wellness facilities. The castle is huge with rooms in various styles (and quite eclectic decor - some of the "paintings" are interesting). The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy. We particulartly enjoyed the Pipe Room. There are many other castles and sights to see in the area, it's ideal if you want to treat yourself to a 4-star treatment while on a road trip.

The extraordinary attention, helpfulness and kindness of the staff is fitting for the extraordinary location and far exceeds even international standards. Every detail was right, from the decent and appropriate music to the cleanliness, service, correctness and good atmosphere. An excellent luxurious hotel. Everything was perfect, the staff, the historical building, the food (both breakfast and dinner) the spa, the interior swimming pool, the jakuzi, the sauna and the garden. The staff was polite, helpful and well trained. The building itself was suberb.The room was spacious, luxurious and clean. Attention was paid to the slightest detail. The breakfast was of good quality, the dinner was very tasty. The interior swimming pool was really nice. The parking was on the side of the hotel.

There is NOTHING not to like about this hotel....we loved it.

We loved Absolutely EVERYTHING. Treat yourself and stay in this beautifully renovated castle. The workmanship and attention to detail is flawless. There's also a beautiful spa downstairs with an indoor swimming pool. We were in Room 105, beautiful views across the countryside. All the staff were wonderful and there were vegetarian options on their menu. You could possibly get there by public transport, with a few changes, however we used a private driver from Bratislava.

Very hard to find anything not to like. If I was being incredibly pedantic, the formal gardens to the front of the building needed some weeding and the roses needed dead-heading. If I’d had some secateurs, I’d have done it myself😉
