How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Couldn't use swimming pool. All breakfast dishes were cold. We came around 9AM. I guess it was some equipment malfunction because staff tried to warm the food up when we complained.
Nice, cozy hotel, very central, near the market. Has nice swimming pool but unfortunately couldn't use it because of maintenance.

Staff were very average compared to other places we have stayed in Thailand. Breakfast was very limited.

Great Location, clean and comfortable bed. In Thailand all Beds are huge sizes, if you are wondering why many Thai hotels offer family only one double bed for a family of 3 (even 4) that is because all their beds in all hotels (we stayed in 6 hotels) are about 2 meters wide! It can fit three adults easily on one bed! No hotels explains that so hope this helps with other families with kids.

It's a brand new hotel. It was quiet in our room. Big window+ balcony. Nice decoration. The location was exceptional.

The “co-working” space didn’t have air con and it’s directly next to the pool. It was fine to work in the evening though. (Maybe they could section a small part off and have a small air-con area)
The bed was huge and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. The room was nice and clean. Staff were happy. They had complimentary tea/coffee/water. Good Wi-Fi, smart tv in the room.

We were kept up late by noisy neighbors, so I think the walls may be thin. Dudes were partying (and puking) a couple doors down and we still got to hear it.
Nice modern hotel in Krabi, where most hotels are very much not modern. Pretty good location, everything important is walkable.

Little detail, we missed a towel rack in the bathroom and the tiles in the swimming pool can be a bit slippery.
Very clean, new and big room with a nice bathroom and bathtub on the balcony!

Breakfast could be given a little more effort. The staff could be more friendly and force a smile when they look away from their YouTube video 🙃. We had to physically ask to get our room made up, the previous day we had the clean our room tagged hooked on our door handle the whole day, the room was never touched.
The rooms are very simple, good and clean.

Very small pool. The common areas doesn't look like an hotel. We got the outdoor bath which had a very "ugly view" there was no point of using it.

There were blinds missing in one window where the bath tub was, so I couldn't use the bathtub. There were no hooks in the bathroom. Cleanliness is not that great but ok. For a property that's opened recently cleanliness is not that great just acceptable.
The location is excellent. The room was good but not great.

Despite the fact that co-working spaces are advertised, the internet is not working and judging by the reviews, that has been the case for some time. Strange when you advertise yourself like that. I asked about it twice but the staff didn’t seem very eager to fix it. In addition, there was a blood stain on a sheet that we had missed at check-in. When checking out they wanted us to pay 1200 baht which is of course ridiculous for washing sheets. Moreover, it is anything but customer-friendly.
The rooms are more than fine and the beds were the best beds we have had in Thailand. Spacious bathroom with bath. Everything is clean and new.
