Very turisty location in the most noisy and stressful understanding possible. There are nice areas with much nicer atmosphere close by, but if you are not looking for party, consider looking elsewhere (again, hotel was surprisingly quiet). Although fairly close to many touristy attractions, nearest metro stations are quite far away which is worth considering depending on what parts of Bangkok on wishes to explore).

The room and facilities held true to what expected and escepcially considering the low costs, it was value for money. Room and hotel was clean, staff friendly although service somewhat so-so (mostly due to lack of English-speaking). Surprisingly quiet considering the neighbourhood.

Upon our arrival at 10 am, there were multiple rooms available; however, we were surprised to learn that an early check-in required a cash payment of 400 baht, a detail not communicated when we made our booking request. Despite paying for early access, upon entering the room, we found the sheets to be dirty, necessitating a wait for the housekeeping staff to rectify the situation. While the hotel's central location on Khao San Road may appeal to those seeking a lively atmosphere, it's worth noting that this area is quite distant from other attractions in Bangkok. If you're primarily interested in the nightlife and party scene, this location could be a suitable choice.

Nice hotel clean friendly staff there is no wardrobes in the room so you can’t hang your clothes up. The other thing you should be aware of is the noise the music from Khaoson road is loud from about 9:30pm till 05:00am now the hotel do supply earplugs. To me it is budget hotel one step up from a hostel. Overall it was ok but not for me in the future, it would definitely suit the 18 to 30 age group.

Khaosan Road isn’t the best to walk to your hotel at night if you want some peace and quiet.

This was my second time staying at Khaosan Palace. Great value for money. Beds were super comfy. Love the rooftop pool area. This is the best hotel if you wanna party late at Khaosan and head straight to bed when you’re done partying.

Loudness of the area but as said above, if done research properly before hand know what you’re getting yourself into!

Location was superb, if doing your research on the area and where you’re staying before hand. You’ll know what you’re getting yourself in to with the noise etc. Earplugs was provided and very useful to be fair for the night time and staff also very helpful

The noise level is too high between 21:00 and 02:00 because it is next to party road. Need to use earplugs for sleeping. If you are a party animal, you will love it.

It is in the center of KhaoSan Road, a terrible party street. In front of the hotel lady boys harass foreigners. Lots of rude customers.

Some people won't think of this as a drawback, but there is an open-air disco right next to the hotel, and so loud music was blasting on until the small hours of the morning. If you’re eating durian, be sure to keep your nose pinched closed!

Very inexpensive accommodation in a pedestrian zone (Khaosan Road) that is dormant during the day but becomes the centre of the hustle and bustle bringing in abundant partygoers during the night. Kind and friendly staff. No breakfast option offered. Loved the rooftop pool!

It’s too noisy, we knew that the Khaosan rd was crazy but the rooms are not enough soundproof and it was imposible to sleep until 4am. We payed for a bigger room and at the end we should asked to change it and they gave us a smaller one, regardless of the different rate that wasn’t recognized. They should advise about the noisy room.
