I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Zell am see, This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The apartments are centrally located with most of the restaurants and bars only 5-10 minutes away. The nearest ski list is also 10 minutes away (walking in ski boots). We were upgraded to a superior family suite which was huge and had a wrap-around balcony giving great views of the mountains. Comfy beds, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen (except a toaster) and super underfloor heating made our stay very enjoyable.

I was here to watch the Europa Cup women's slalom races in mid-January. I was welcomed warmly and treated so very nicely. I was traveling alone (meeting up with friends at the races), so I appreciated the warmth and professional treatment by all staff. Especially kind were the front desk attendant and the dining room attendants named Dragana and Nikolina. The exercise room and saunas were spot clean and fresh, with ample towels, showers and changing rooms. The attendant explained all the areas to me. My room had a most splendid view of the lake with the mountain backdrop. It was a short walk to the bottom of the racing location. Breakfast and coffee (cappuccino/espresso) was very good, many choices. `
