Great location. Easy walk to town centre. Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Comfortable. On street parking but never an issue (lots of space). Excellent breakfast.

Staying at Clementines Town Hotel in York was an absolute delight! The location was perfect, the room was beautifully decorated, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Such a personal welcome from Linda and Jonathan. We loved their comfy room, beautiful garden, and excellent breakfast. The train into York is easy and efficient.

The owners, Michal and Gaby, are very friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. They make you feel at home straight from the start. They know a lot about York and North Yorkshire and have provided us with very useful information about what there is to see and also which restaurants to go to. The B&B is strategically situated on the road near the town centre, at less than 10 minute’s walk. We had a lovely room with an en suite on the first floor at the front. The beds are made up daily, the bathroom is cleaned daily, it is all very clean. The pub downstairs is a hub for the locals and the guests, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast is very good, English and continental. We certainly recommend the Burton Stone Inn!
