Nur 100 m von einem geschützten Strand entfernt erwartet Sie das Hotel Cala Bona y Mar Blava in der historischen Stadt Ciutadella auf Menorca. This little hotel by the Cala is perfect. It’s a simple place that knows how to do hospitality well. The owners (two brothers) and those who work with them are super friendly. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea each morning was spectacular. The location of the hotel is unbeatable with direct access to the water but only a short walk to town. The rooms themselves are spartan and clean and with all the necessities for a week long stay. I will definitely be back. Hopefully the prices remain reasonable ;) already dreaming about my next holiday in Menorca.

Hotel ARTIEM Capri is just 500 meters from Mahon’s main shops and bars. Es Grau Beach is 8 km away and S’Albufera Nature Reserve is within 7 km. I loved the Green Lounge where free drinks and snacks (beer & wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee) were available (self service) until midnight. It gave a nice atmosphere to the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book, chilling there at the end of my day. The breakfast was lovely, with an "egg station" where eggs were made on the spot to your liking (the lady was lovely, a pleasure to see here every morning). Also, I checked out at 6.20am and the day before the lovely lady at reception offered breakfast to go, which was very handy. Make sure to ask the day before. The room was spacious, well thought and nothing beats Italian showers. The location was good for me - walking distance from the port and restaurants (Mahón is rather small). Also it is close to the airport (10min by bus - L10) which drops you at the bus station (3 min away from the hotel). The same bus station allows you to travel around the island if you didn't rent a car. It takes 1h to go to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island (50min with the Xpress bus).

Auf Menorca, 1 km von Ciutadella und 10 Autominuten vom Strand La Vall entfernt, bietet das Agroturismo Ses Talaies einen saisonal geöffneten Außenpool und eine Sonnenterrasse. Absolute heaven! Beautiful surroundings, stunning pool and garden, tranquil, easy access to the port. But above all the staff are best thing about the hotel. They are warm and friendly and clearly love where they work. I cannot recommend Ses Talaies enough.

Das Bordoy Casa Ládico - Hotel Boutique liegt in Mahón, 500 m vom Hafen von Mahón entfernt. Das Hotel ist in einem Gebäude aus dem 19. Perfect location. Easy access from airport by taxi - costed less than 15 euros each way. Anna from front desk was very helpful, answered all my questions, constantly checked in to make sure everything was going OK.

Pedro is a natural born host, taking a genuine interest in his guests. He individually supports his guests with pretty much anything they might need (e.g., breakfast specialties, bookings, ...). And, as a proud Menorcan he takes great pleasure in providing great tipps for restaurants, beaches, rental car providers, sights, ... (I have been to the island many times, yet with Pedro's help I did find a couple of new gems). With just four rooms and the familial atmosphere, to me, Ca S'Arader felt like a home away from home (I actually decided to return for another couple of days on the same trip).
