Oyado Koto No Yume, 2 menit dengan berjalan kaki dari Stasiun Takayama, menawarkan kamar-kamar bergaya Jepang dengan sentuhan penuh warna. Very friendly and helpful staff. The futon was comfortable, the private onsen was great, and the Japanese breakfast was delicious. Great location next to the train station.

Situated in a tranquil area in Gifu Region, a 52-minute drive away from JR Takayama Station, Mozumo boasts a hot-spring bath and rooms decorated with modern Japanese interior. We loved the subtile and tasteful architecture of the place. Everything was beautiful in its simplicity. The private onsen was fantastic especially with the forest in the background. Everything was so quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so kind and provided a perfect service. Food was excellent.

Juhachiro yang didirikan pada tahun 1860 ini terletak di sepanjang Sungai Nagara dan menawarkan pemandian air panas alami indoor dan outdoor. It was overall a wonderful weekend and a wonderful stay and experience in your super clean hotel. The Onsen were amazing and your rooms even made us stay the whole afternoon inside because we just felt like home. Thank you! Our stay was exceptionally great!

Awarded by TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice in 2015, Wanosato offers luxurious Japanese-style ryokan stay in a 160-year-old quaint Gassho-zukuri thatched-roof house, nestled in the tranquil woods. Wanosato was a lovely place to stay! The staff, especially the manager, were so friendly, attentive and efficient. The attention to detail was incredible, from the personalized slippers to my luggage mysteriously appearing in my room and to the set up of my private onsen time. The food was delicious and a truly authentic Japanese dining experience. I highly recommend Wanosato to anyone who wants a peace ryokan experience surrounded by nature.

Nothing would define this place better than: details. You'll find one of the best places to stay with amazing and numerous staff who'll do everything to make you feel like royalty. Everything is focus on perfection, care and attention, from the decoration to the comfort of the beds to the views, the food and the facilities (public and private baths). This is a must if it is within your budget

Sumiyoshi Ryokan menawarkan akomodasi bergaya Jepang di gedung townhouse yang bersejarah, 1 menit berjalan kaki dari Pasar Pagi Miyagawa yang populer di jantung Takayama. We absolutely loved this Ryokan and stayed here for multiple nights. The reasons why we loved this place and plan to come back are: (1) LOCATION! Easy to find, its just a straight 15min walk from the station on the main road and tucked in a quiet alley way by the river. Its across the river (1min walk) from the Morning Market and close to all the main sights + restaurants. Cannot get any better than this. Side note: after breakfast walk to the morning market and buy some warm pudding from the street vendor - its home made. My only regret is not eating more of it. (2) ROOM! The beds are comfortable and rooms are big. The views from the rooms are amazing. (3) FOOD! Food is delicious - we highly recommend getting the breakfast and dinner sets if possible. They change the menu each day. Its a very traditional setting with lots of great food - you will not be hungry afterwards. (4) ONSEN! The onsen in this Ryokan is the best. Very clean and comfortable. (5) STAFF! Service is 10 out of 10. The owners and staff are so kind, they will set your room each night and leave some tea + snacks in your room to unwind when you get back from walking around town. They greeted us with a green tea ceremony. They are wonderful.
