There are no words to describe our experience in Shiroyamakan. Everything was exceptional, the installations, the personnel, the atmosphere, the location, simply, there are no words. The food is another part of the history. Yes, can be weird that the dinner is at 6 pm, but it has an explanation that you must experience by yourself. It was the most beautiful and memorable experience in our traveling life. Arigatou so much to the family, you made us feel in your home.

Most magical place. Never stayed anywhere like it with such an incredible view of the river. Felt like a dream. Food and service were remarkable

Offering traditional Japanese-style accommodation with spacious public baths, Yatsusankan is a 6-minute walk from JR Hidafurukawa Train Station. absolutely fantastic . we liked everything 😀 tatami as a bed isn’t made for us 😀 but that was our Choice to try it. except of this the whole ryokan , the staff the food is just the best . thank you !

Sumiyoshi Ryokan ligger bare 1 minutts gange fra det populære morgenmarkedet Miyagawa i hjertet av Takayama, og tilbyr hjemmekoselig overnatting i japansk stil i en historisk byvilla. We loved our stay here. I cannot recommend this Ryokan enough - if you get the chance I promise you the price is so so worth it. The staff are so friendly, the food is AMAZING, the beds are comfortable, the onsen itself is so lovely and relaxing. This is just a wonderful cozy place to stay in Japan.
