Com banheira ao ar livre e vista da montanha, o Onsen Guest House Tsutaya é um ryokan recém-renovado situado em Hakone, a 6,5 km da Estação Hakone-Yumoto. The very kind response of the staff and the fact that I could enjoy the outdoor hot spring were very good.

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. It is a Japanese style inn with retro vibes. Their private onsen's water comes from the very hot spring source of Kusatsu and therefore you can experience the hot spring water without going to the public baths if you are shy. We mostly used them at night when the town's baths are closed since the inn's are 24/7 open. I would recommend to book a japanese style room as it has it's tatami and according decoration and together with the inn's yukata (there is an opt for a colorful one and geta to rent) it gives a more japanese experience. We liked that the inn had slippers for going outside which was convenient as the whole town is full with onsens (even ones that are only for feet) and therefore is more convenient to move in slippers. They have a game area with a lot of retro game (even arcade games) and Nintendo SFC System Video Game Console in the rooms. It may not be in the centre of the town (around 10 min walk for either yubatake or Sainokawara Park and open onsen) but is very close to it and also they offer pick up/drop off from the bus terminal. Staff were very friendly and helped with everything we needed. In our next visit to Kusatsu we are definitely staying there!

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. the hotel facilities were great , the room was huge ; there is free shutteles from the hotel to the train station

The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, I fell in love with each of them. And the girl, who booked food for me, I wish her all the best, she saved my evening that day with her initiative

Com vista do lago e jardim, o Chuzenji Pension oferece acomodações em uma localização privilegiada em Nikko, a uma curta distância das Cataratas Kegon, do Lago Chuzenji e do Templo Chuzenji. Super friendly and helpful staff, everyone can speak English. Food is top-notch. The view from the room is magnificent.

The staff was amazing and super accommodating. The private onsen was a great experience and really nice that your room gets an hour per day.

Com banheira de hidromassagem, o Hakone Miyanoshita Myojokan está situado em Hakone. Este ryokan 3 estrelas oferece vista da montanha e fica a 6,2 km da Estação Hakone-Yumoto. Very nice private and natural onsen bath. Nice rooms ans comfy beds. The owner is very kind and had good tips for our stay. We stayed 3 nights. There is an bus stop and train stop near by. There isn't any breakfast but we got Onigri from 7 Eleven which was good. The owner servers tea and coffee. We can recommend to stay in this Ryokan.

Immaculately cared for with the kindest staff I have ever encountered. You immediately feel at home and taken care of with small touches like skincare in the bathrooms, to big things like the private roof onsen available for free reservation. Fabulous breakfast and we were on our honeymoon so they surprised us with a decorated dessert and Polaroid photo of us!! Over the top kindness that makes me recommend this hotel to everyone and can’t imagine visiting Japan again without staying here.
