The room was clean, spacious and had a gorgeous view of the lake and mount Fuji. Sitting in an onsen just by myself at 6 am. and looking at mount Fuji is an experience I will never forget :)

Luxurious ryokan Fuji Onsenji Yumedono is located just 500 metres from Lake Kawaguchiko. The facilities were incredible, the food amazing. We had such a relaxed time.

Boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Teiensaryo Yamanakako is located just a 2-minute walk from Fujikyu Asahioka Bus Terminal in Yamanakako. Free WiFi access is available in the public area. The owner and his family were super welcoming and friendly. The place looks a bit old as the business has been running for a long time, but for us that's what a traditional Japanese inn should be like and thus it was just great. It's a few minutes walk from the lake as well. The hot bath was a big plus after a long day outside during winter. The food was amazing! Everything was amazing in this place. Very traditional Japanese house and all the amenities are great! You have to try the ofuro… magnificent!!! The hosts are an old and very sweet couple! They’re super kind and amazing people. Please don’t hesitate to come here is absolutely worth it!!!
