It was very homely, warm and perfect for our winter break. The hosts met us at the apartment when we arrived, showed us round and answered any questions we had. They are very friendly and helpful. There is parking, a free bus up the road and the train stations aren't too far to walk to

The place and the views are phenomenal. As the cable cars stop at 5 PM, there is only you and a few other hotel guests left. Now the mountains are yours to enjoy in its serene setting. This is especially precious for a region as popular and otherwise packed with tourists as Lauterbrunnen / Jungfraujoch. For a mountiain lodge, the accomodation is still very comfortable, clean and well equipped. This was my favorite place to stay in Switzerland.
