Our stay at the Stresa Residence was simply, magical! We attended a wedding in Stresa and opted for a property rental rather than a hotel. We are SO glad we did. We had the best time ever. The property was in such an amazing location- central to everything. There was a grocery store 2 minutes up the road. We were able to get to the water in just a few minutes, too. The balcony was such a plus. It was so amazing to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and have such great views of everyone strolling through the shops and streets below. The host, Giuliano was helpful and so kind. He helped us with busing information since we had a hard time communicating in Italian. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. It was evident that the property owners have pride in their property. HUGE bathroom, closet and the "Murphy Bed" was so comfortable! We liked being able to put the bed up to have more space during the day. The little kitchen was perfect for cooling meals, too! We hope to be back one day!

The area has great possibilities to ride mountain bikes - perfect trails in less than 10 minutes drive. The house is really stunning - the view over the Lake is really impressive - I also liked the terrace which is very private and even when the weather is not so nice ( we had a lot of rain ) it’s a gray place to read a book and relax. For the rest everything is very stylish - we were able to use the washing machine ( no dryer unfortunately) and there are two tv’s - one even has Amazon - we had good internet !
