What a place! Breathtaking views from the balcony. We didn’t want to leave! Wonderfully located if you have a car and want to hike around the area located in and around Cortina. We went for several hikes, including the Cadini di Misurina (which had gorgeous views of the Tre Cime). We traveled in first week of June and there was still a lot of snow and our family of three (including a 9 year old) had a great time. The stay at Joas and the hikes in the Dolomites were the highlight of our 15 day stay in Italy and Switzerland. The town of San Candido, a 8 min drive from the hotel, is a wonderful place for dinners. We had dinner once in a local restaurant recommended by Joas staff but were not very happy with the meal. If you want to savor local, rustic, no frills cuisine, would highly recommend Weisthaler restaurant in San candido where we ended up going twice during our stay.

We are so amazed. Everything was perfect, the pool, play room, our beautiful wooden house. Our kids (1 year, 3 years and 5 years) were so happy, they enjoyed. Baby lift is 30m from hotel and that was great. Our waiter Krešo from Slavonija was great! :)

We travel a lot and we have stayed in many great places around Europe, but this hotel was definitely the best! Originally we booked only four nights, but we extended our stay for almost two weeks. The family running the property is extremely friendly and professional and all employees were amazing. Always in good mood, always warm smile in their faces. Hotel has a great location, skiing lift in 5 minutes walk. We stayed in two different suites, both of them very cozy, clean, nicely decorated, perfect room temperature and absolutely quiet! Excellent breakfast with many choices to pick, eggs prepared as you wish and coffee or teas as well. Very nice few corses dinners as well. The pool and spa area very well designed, vey peaceful and relaxing. We definitely enjoyed our stay and we are planning another one soon.
