The Salute hotel is a perfect location to immerse oneself in the heart of the Hanoi old quarter. Our stay was comfortable and it was made even better by the help of the staff, especially Ms Sue who booked a tour for us to Ninh Binh and recommended a hotel stay there. It was great service!

The Grand Colonial Terrace Suite is an excellent choice and highly recommended. In my view, this hotel stands out globally for its excellence. We enjoyed an exceptional breakfast, exquisite dining, and stunning views from the rooftop bar. The 24/7 service is impeccable, efficiently handling everything from laundry to delivering a bottle of Bordeaux at night, refilling the minibar, organizing an unexpected doctor's visit, or simply bringing up the pizza we ordered. It deserves a 15/10 rating for everything. Heartfelt thanks to Ken, Jack, and the Front Desk/Customer Service team, as well as Lisa, Teresa, and the restaurant team for their exceptional kindness and professionalism!

Best hotel in Hanoi, great gym, swimming pool and rooftop bar. Restaurant in hotel lobby is also very good and I would recommend the hotel for everyone. Great staff and rooms are very nice and clean with great service. Hotel is located in great area, very close to train street with a lot of beer pubs and also very close to the historical centre.

The greeting on arrival, the personalised service from Several staff members was comforting after a long flight. We were able to check in early which was great. The room was spacious, we had a balcony overlooking the busy market street, which was amazing for people watching, although once the door was shut you could not hear any outside noise.so close to Market, Beer Street, Lake and an abundance of eateries, clothing shops, convenience stores and close to transport to other tourist locations. Breakfast was simple but sufficed. Not being tech savvy, the crew which included Nora, Marcus, and so sorry to the rest of the team, names escaped me, but were amazing with fixing issues on our phone. We went away to Sapa for 4 days and returned to stay one night again prior to going to Halong Bay. We had a room at the back due to the hotel been fully booked, still very spacious. Clean room. We loved our 6 night stay and have absolute no hesitation in recommending this hotel. No pool which I always look for in a hotel, that did not deter me, however, we found other places where we could go for a quick swim and cocktails during the day. We received a lovely thank you note and some sweet treats on our last night. Will always have fond memories of the staff, big goodbye hugs all round on our departure.

- Good breakfast, phở/eggs and buffet. - LOCATION was GREAT : 3 minutes walk to lake, 5 minutes walk to bus for Ha Giang, right in the city center - Service and STAFF was AMAZING. They are so welcoming and especially Justin, who even found the phone we forgot in a taxi !! Thank you so much. The staff will make you feel like a VIP. Also, they kept our luggage safe during our 4 days trip to Ha Giang, we could take a shower before the night bus and the plane, they gave us water bottles for the trip. - Room had no window (pretty common in HN) BUT out of all the hotels we stayed in Vietnam, was the BEST VENTILATED (no humidity felt at all, everywhere else there was condensation on the windows in the morning and felt very humid). Also very well lit so we did not feel the lack of window. The QUIETEST room we had in VN as well. No need for earplugs.

Amazing hotel if you want to visit Hanoi. The location is great to do the city by feet. The rooms (we had 3 different for 3 different stays along our trip) are great, very clean, modern! The beds were so comfortable and perfect after a long day of walking. The spa is also proposing very good service and all the hotel staff were so kind, helpful and really tried there best to make our stay unforgettable. It was our honeymoon and happen to be also my husband birthday. There decorated the room and surprised us with a dessert in the room for both occasions. I definitely recommend!
