How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No hot water in my shower!
Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was also good and included in the room rate.

There was bad smell in the room when we step in. There were ants beside the entry door. WiFi was slow.
Very clean, both in room and public space. Friendly staffs. Good shower, open kitchen was very nice, quiet and good breakfast.

Very secure, nice peaceful street, 24hr reception. Tour agency in the hotel, which I didn't use but were very helpful via WhatsApp for enquiries. Staff were wonderful! The communal kitchen is huge, nice to eat dinner in the open air. Breakfast had so many options. The fridge in my room was particularly handy. AC worked very well. Short walking distance of the urban bus terminal and a huge supermarket with ATM.

no shuttle service - if you have a night flight book the hotel near the airport because Iguazu falls is 5 mins drive - bathroom light not working
- walkable to the bus center - bus number 120 can take you to the IGU airport and Iguazu falls - quite location and safty place

Not too much nearby but I think the main reason to be here is for the falls :)
Probably one of the best hostel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Nice little pool area. Nice helpful staff. Can arrange trip to the falls through the hostel. Good shared kitchen.

The shower in my room only ran cold water which was a bit inconvenient. The communal kitchen only has one stove (with 4 elements) so when there are multiple people cooking it is difficult to manage. The stove itself didn’t work so great either, some didn’t turn on and others didn’t have any control for changing heat strength. It would have been nice to have some outdoor space for drying clothes/towels.
Lovely friendly staff, incredible breakfast spread! The communal areas were always kept clean as well. The single room I stayed in was comfortable, and the WiFi was very good all through the properly.

Location wasn’t in the centre of town but wasn’t too problematic as there is a big supermarket and a few restaurants nearby.
The staff were brilliant - super helpful and happy to give advice. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options. There is a bus stop 2 mins away that you can take to the Falls or Puerto Igauzu. The room was clean and shower was good.

There was only one stove top in the shared kitchen. That was inadequate during peak hours. The kitchen needed a continual breeze to be comfortable.
The staff was exceptional. The attention to details immaculate.

Thebes was the travel agents. Did a great job with wonderful and helpful information. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was good.

Air conditioning generator was outside room so a bit noisy on one night , but not on other nights.
Large room with private bathroom. Air conditioning, good breakfast, 24 hour reception, can walk to restaurants, small pool. Has a trout operator on site although I had already pre booked tours.

The fridge had some food remains… so I cleaned up to use it. The rest of the room was very clean though! No mold or stains :)
The staff members were very helpful. Helping me arrange the ticket and carrying my luggage to the room. I requested my room to be a bit more brighter so they found me a room that suits my request better. The Internet worked superb too so I highly recommend this place if you want the fast internet and a pool :)

Super friendly staff who helped me with all my questions. I had a single room which I LOVED, a great ensuite and comfy double bed. The breakfast is also incredible! It's a buffet with loads of fruit, bread, cake options. Within walking djstance to the main bus stop too.

Breakfast, especially coffee, was not so great - measured on European standards. But thats the same for most hotels also.
Staff is great, a really good team. Not only responsive and quit when you need anything. But also available for a chat. Thanks a lot! Also liked the common kitchen area. Good to hangout, met travelers. Didn’t cook though but looked nice and clean to do so.
