  “Fantastic place to stay in Tortuguero. Rooms where a wooden lodge that where perfect for the location. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection. Bar and pool area where beautiful. Ideal place to stay for exploring.”

  “The property is nestled between the canal waterway and the Caribbean Sea which is quite spectacular. The grounds are really beautifully kept and our accommodation was spacious. We booked a free standing bungalow which was good. There wasn't airconditioning in the rooms which we found tough being our first few days in Costa Rica... The humidity in May was over 90%. The team in the restaurant were excellent and very friendly & attentive. The food was really good. The pool area was clean and was next to the bar and restaurant area which gave it a nice atmosphere. The bar area is separate so you can sit and enjoy an early evening drink b4 dinner, or grab a coffee and relax after breakfast.”

  “It was clean well presented. There was ample cooler water help yourself to. The bathroom were clean but basic ( as presented in the pictures on Booking.com) The beach ( where the turtles would have been but we were out of season) is 40m away. The centre of the village is less than 5 min walk. There is an upstairs veranda with fans for sitting .the green macaws can be seen in the tree outside in early morning Downstairs a shaded area with hammocks Wifi on site”

  “Food is good; hotel room is basic but well designed; very friendly and helpful staff; very close to nature, the night walk is just at the back of the hotel: super clear instructions that eased our arrival logistics.”

  “Very sweet hotel with extraordinarily friendly staff, great star fruit juice, very clean, good air condition (recommended :)), little nice pool and beautiful beach. Extraordinarily well organized! The hotel sent perfect information about where to park and how to get to the ferry. Both at the Parking lot and the ferry Harbour at tortuguro there were hotel guides to support with payment, directions etc. It was easy to prebook tours, we liked the kayak morning tour a lot. Do bring cash.”
