How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There is a sign indicating that entering the swimming pool area with shoes is prohibited. However, the staff also prohibits entry in flip-flops or slippers. I find this policy perplexing and question its hygiene and safety implications.

Just the shower, leaking everywhere. Other than that, the room was lovely.
The Hotel is wonderful, great breakfast, parking on site, nice jacuzzi and pool, good location to the main namesti and friendly staff on the recption with info and reccomenadtions (thanks Moon, she was lovely). Free bottle of wine left in the room for us and a lovely veiw over the valley. The room was enormous but unfortunately the shower leaks all over the foor due to bad door design, which was difficult to clean up. But overall we had a wonderful stay and I would definately stay again.

What can I say? Everything that I expect was there, even English type of breakfast (without mushrooms). Beautiful Hotel in the historic city centre with a specific offer, especially the swimming pool was a good part after seven hours drive. A complementary bootle of wine included!

The hotel itself is almost perfect (besides the absence of AC, so the room was very hot and due to small roof windows almost impossible to ventilate it), but the personnel in the La Cave restaurant was very unprofessional and their behavior completely ruined our good mood. Their reservations system is weird and they insist the guest must seat at the table they dedicated at the reservation - but guests do not know it until they come to the restaurant, choose their table and then they are moved to another table without any excuse, just by order by young arrogant waitress... The same lady later is not able to inform guest about wine offer. When we wish to speak with manager, no one in such a position was presented, so there was no chance to complain...

The hotel was great.
It was in a good location. The outdoor bar and indoor lounge were nice. The dinner menu was very good and so was breakfast. The bed was great.

hotel presents it self as airconditioned , but most of the rooms are not , let know reception ahead that you need it, especially in the summer months all spa available in the property is for additional fee very slow wifi
nicely refurbished old industrial facility breakfast - wide selection of everything and healthy options available location is just perfect free parking in the hotel yard

Nothing, maybe a better coffee in the room but this depends on which kind of coffee you like
Big room clean with all you need. Hotel is close to city centre. Hotel has a parking with cheap price. Breakfast was delicious

A big disappointment was that there was no coffee machine available for breakfast. They offered plenty food but no proper coffee only some brown water in jars. A 4 star hotel should have proper coffee machine available. I had to pay for espresso

Breakfast was the best of the hotel choices in Tabor we experienced. Large buffet and choices. Everything frequently refilled and used dishes taken away.

While room was comfortable, it’s location in the older part of the building meant it was quite hot without air con and only limited possibility of getting air in through windows
Great location, close to main square in the old town. Small enough to be friendly, without losing the quality offered by a larger hotel
