    “The lovely ambience, garden surroundings and amazing location very close to the old town centre. Parking available inside for a fee of Euro 8 that was convenient for us. The husband and wife team was willing to let us come in an hour earlier than our stipulated time. The breakfast was lovely.”

    “The location was great. I traveled with my mom and my aunts who are both in their 70's. It was very easy for them to walk from the hotel to the main square where all the restaurants are. We also walk along the old city wall and the castle garden. We love this city and the hotel made it even better because of its location and the comfort during our stay. The breakfast were very good, many things to choose from the buffet line. We will definitely stay again.”

The glass-covered table in the lounge area is replete with excerpts from its guest book, including great figures from the arts (e.g., violin legend Fritz Kreisler, piano legend Sviatoslav Richter, composer Paul Hindemith, singer Art Garfunkel, actor Burt Lancaster...), sports (racing car driver Mario Andretti), letters and statecraft (Winston Churchill), and so on... The building itself is glorious and well-preserved; it's simply a perfect expression of what draws one to Rothenburg.”
