The distance to the main town was the only drawback as it was a 30 min walk each way with buses being very unreliable. But the walk was scenic and restaurants and coffee shops littered the commute.

Would be better to have 2 bathrooms for such an apartment with 5 people. The noise from road can distract from sleeping (music from cars in the midnight, noisy cars/vans).

While the distance to old town is walkable (around 30 minutes), there is a lack of sidewalks. There is a bus stop nearby, but been waiting for the bus for over an hour every time, as the buses are not running on schedule. The commute was quite tiring and used a lot of our time.

The apartment had all the facilities needed, spacious and cosy. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect if you’re planning to explore Crete with a car, apartments are close to main roads with not too much traffic.

The apartment was a great size, the bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of cooking utensils so we were able to cook for ourselves some nights comfortably. There wasn’t too much within walking distance but the busses are great and there are bus stops within a 5 minute walk of the apartment so that wasn’t a problem!

The design of the shower was impractical as it unfortunately resulted in the entire floor of the bathroom becoming wet with each use. Overall, this is a minor negative point for an otherwise outstanding accommodation.

Firstly, the staff and service were superb! The reception staff were very friendly and made our stay very smooth and pleasant. The room itself was very modern, cleaned to a professional standard and very well equipped. We had a spacious balcony overlooking the pool, which made for a very pleasant ambiance.

Maria and the staff were so kind, the room was spacious, brand new and clean, the bed very comfortable. You can park just in front of the apartment and Chania center is at 8 minutes by car. There is also a white cat that welcomes you :) everything was just perfect!

- a little bit noisy and bright in the morning - a bit far from city centre (no problem if you have a rental car, but the walk would be 30 minutes)

Not a dislike but maybe more hangers in the wardrobe. We liked the location because it was away from the hustle and bustle, but we had a hire car, I wouldn’t recommend this for people who don’t have a car.

We stayed in the maisonette, the photos don’t do it justice! Brand new, clean and spacious. Had everything we could want, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, toiletries, washing machine with detergent, plenty loo roll, coffee maker and even a toastie maker, just to name a few. Had some personal touches too, like candles, raki, and a few things left out for us. Definitely is more than just your standard self catering apartment - it felt like someone’s personal home. Would recommend this to anyone. I would advise to hire a car though, as the walk into the main town could get tiring!

The only inconvenience was that although the property is only 2 km away from the center of Chania, walking was not really an option (on the side of the road, bad smell, etc). However, there was a bus station 300m away and we just took the bus to the center whenever we needed.

The apartment was great - clean, spacious, 2 bathrooms for 2 bedrooms, 2 large balconies, well equipped kitchen. The host was very nice, explained us how to retrieve the keys and answered promptly to any question. There was a nice pool in the garden but we didn't really have the time to use it.
