How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No luggage folding rack provided inside hotel room.
This hotel is very close to Asakusa subway station, (close to the elevator to go down to platform, exit A2b too, just need to cross a street) has family mart right beside the hotel. Location is fantastic.

Double bed was very small and if you were on the wall side you needed to climb over the other person to get out. Would consider a twin room next time.
Excellent location near the train lines. Plenty of amenities offered along with clean towels every day. Small room but luggage storage under the bed made it ok.

Despite the working AC, the air exchange in the room was not great, and the windows could not be opened - they are for emergency use only
The hotel was clean, conveniently located for getting to/from Narita airport and the city, had all necessary facilities. Our arrival was delayed, but the staff checked us in after midnight (I messaged just in case). Easy self check-out

Communication with the receptionist is abit hard while some of them don’t understand in English. Further more, I have to be honest that I encounter few receptionist in my day 3 stay that are not really friendly… not sure what happen…However overall are good…

Bathroom needs a deep clean (bathtub to be exact).
Its next to a family mart and train station. Its 5 mins walk to Sensoji Temple and shops. Its location is superb. In the room, the bed is raised so you can put your luggage underneath the bed. Its such a good idea as the room is small but very functional.

Unlike most hotels in Tokyo that provide additional amenities such as face moisturizer, toner, body lotion, coffee, green tea, and bottled mineral water, this hotel only offers basic amenities upon check-in. There is no daily replenishment of these items.
The room is small, but the bed is nice. I had a very good sleep throughout my stay. The location is fantastic, as it is near Asakusa Station. Family Mart is just next to the hotel, convenient to buy a late night snack. Provide luggage storage before check-in time, very convenient to go to Narita Airport.

If you’re in a couple, the double bed room is very small. It wasn’t a problem for me criar I was by myself, but I wouldn’t take that room if I was in a couple.
Location. It’s close to the subway, family mart, many restaurants, amazing location. It’s very clean and the staff is very helpful

One female front desk staff did not have any smiles while she serviced me to leave the luggage after I checked out. Room# 615, TV's sound did not work properly. Sometimes TV had NO sound and came back randomly, it was very inconsistent. Using the remote control to adjust the TV volume, it showed "sound volume through headphone" but there was no headphone attached to TV nor I attached my own wireless headphone so there was something definitely wrong with the TV sound. This hotel location didn't have any laundry facilities on site.
Male front staff was very kind and friendly. Room was very clean.

Our room was very small, but there was space for the luggage below the bed.
The hotel room was very clean and the beds comfy. It was also located very close to the metro and a tourist attraction.

They don't clean the room every day ( which is fine) - but they do then supply an additional amenities pack daily which wasn't necessary- would like to see less things wrapped in single use plastic given its all in the name of sustainability so not really a bad point just a suggestion.
Room was a good size for Tokyo rooms. Very convenient location close to Asakusa station which is a good connection hub to get to see everything. Close to tourist locations and plenty of places to eat within walking distance - no problems getting back late at night. Good breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful and stored luggage after check out which was great.
