Climbing up the stairs with baggage to three floors was difficult. A possibility of installing at least a service lift should be considered.

The location and the ambience of the hotel was value for money.

There were a few issues with the door keys, albeit problems which were eventually overcome, was unsettling and inconvenient. The rooms were also heated which albeit nice for the cold nights not so great for times we had to come back to our room (to change etc) during the hot summer days. The hot water would run out after 3x long showers, had to wait for the water to heat again before the 4th person could shower.

Prime location, very comfortable bedding arrangement, good pressure in the shower, coffee downstairs was great to wake you up to, close to everything & soundproofed.

One of the towels and one of the beds had some stains on them but these got changed and was happy with the customer service!

The only downside was our room was located at the front and we were above a very busy road with trams stopping every few minutes. Would have also liked tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Location was great, only a couple of minutes walk to the main square and shopping. Very clean hotel and our room was a good size.

The noise outside the hotel was a bit loud, with there being a tram stop right outside , and the restaurant put the tables and chairs away at midnight and then back out before 6am which woke us up . But it wasn’t a major problem for us . Stairs are steep with a suitcase , but again not a major issue as the room and location make up for all of these minor things . No kettle or tea or coffee making facilities, we took our own kettle which solved that problem !

The location is perfect , right behind Dam square and within a short walking distance of everything! The room was better than anticipated, a lot bigger too , very clean and perfect for us a couple , the bathroom was big too and very clean with towels , hairdryer and mini shampoos and shower gels , which was a nice touch . The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. ( room 15)

No elevator and stairs were steep and narrow. No help with getting luggage up the staircase. Rooms were very small even for European standards.

The location was central to many popular sites. The staff was exceptional especially Ali.

Visiting Amsterdam regularly and stayed in diferent hotels, but this time the overall experience in Corner House was just perfect. Smal cousie hotel, clean, with great stuff, good restaurant and bar. There was a problem in room's toilet and the staf and owner did solve it right away. Felt like I was in a 5 star hotel.

Check in occurs at the diner below. It’s a bit awkward standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting for a server to deliver food before checking us in.

Central location to all of Amsterdam. The family room was really large with nice-sized beds.

No lift made it challenging to take luggage up 2 flights of skinny stairs.

Location was ideal for day trips around Amsterdam. The beer was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Throughout our three-day stay, there was a persistent and unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

The location couldn't be more perfect – right in the heart of the city, close to all the major tourist attractions. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.

The windows are pretty old so you hear every single noise from the street as if its open. But still ok for chosing a city hotel. We knew what we chose.

The Hotel is in the middle of the city. Which is great for touristy activities. All staff was super nice and friendly. Also the Restaurant ist nice. We only had a drink and a snack there. But it was fine.
