The bed situation was not as pictured. Whoever was in bed 2 would have to climb over bed 1, and therefore, 1 of us ended up on the couch every night. The sofa bed mattress was without sheets and in need of a good clean. There was a strong smell of damp throughout the apartment when the window was closed. As other reviews mentioned, the shower situation made no sense, just water everywhere every time you used it. Communication prior to arrival was fine, a couple of automated texts, but no response to a question I had asked. There are no instructions on how to use anything in the apartment. All that being said, I would stay there again happily if a few improvements were made!

The location was great, 5 minute walk to a tram or a 10euro Uber to the city outskirts at night. Beds were very comfortable.

It was dirty, i found a previous customers old sock behind the sofa and i stood on an old razor guard in the shower. I thought that a €200 fine for not taking out the rubbish yourself was insane especially as the hotel price was already slightly high. It felt unsafe as a female solo traveller as the walls were very thin and i could constantly hear men upstairs and next to me at all times. There was no check in desk or any staff physically available, at no point did i see anyone who worked there. The building itself as well as the elevator was very dimly lit which made it both hard to see stuff like the elevator number buttons and scary especially at night.

Soundproofing between apartments was not very good: noise from upstairs every night. Although there was a mouse repellent in the room, mouse visited every night. We kept all the food on the refrigerator. Someone was smoking on the stairs/some other apartment and the smoke spread to our room also.

Location near museums was good. Neighborhood was peaceful and there wasn't traffic noise. There was enough space for three persons to stay comfortably. Own kitchen was really useful and there was enough dishes. Air conditioner was good.

Bedroom/bathroom level stairs were too steep and makes lot of noise. Coffee maker was too dirty. Utensils and pots and pans look very unclean. Bathroom sink takes time to drain.

Property was quite big and more than sufficient for 4 people to comfortably sleep. I like the property but not the state of it.

The rest of the room was on the ground floor and the bedroom was in the basement for some odd reason and there was an electrical room right across from it which was unlocked. At some point during our stay someone entered the flat in out absence and turned off all the lights while we were out with no prior notice and no explanation, which was concerning.

Well located , right next to a main street and 10 minutes walk away from the train station . Was clean and spacious . Wifi worked well.

We struggled initially with the key/code operation but it was fine when we discovered the message from Hotel Musea.

Appartment was very clean and comfortable. It was close to the Rijksmusuem and Van Gogh museum and well served by buses and trams. We were able to walk into Amsterdam quite easily.

Owner didn't send us check-in instructions so we had to call them. Also the cold was getting in to the apartment through windows so we needed to increase the heating.

They host was not communicative. One of the beds was a convertible sofa which was super uncomfortable and hard. There was no water for a whle. The bathroom tap water was always hot to a burning degree. No cold water there (maybe the tap was broken)

a few basic kitchen/cooking supplies, like salt and pepper, sugar maybe.

A good location for checking out museums and galleries. For someone not too tech savvy it took a while to figure out how to operate the stove and the tv...no instructions. No basic kitchen supplies ie salt, pepper etc. which I thought would be included., but we found a pretty comprehensive grocery store close by. The upstairs neighbours were very heavy on their feet, but otherwise this was a quiet, clean place to put your feet up after trekking around the city.
