Hotel is marked as the one having a car park, in reality car park is not in the hotel, but at some shopping mall near by.

Hotel is located next to the most vibrant city areas. Very good breakfast with quite wide choice.

The hotel is in a very busy street, with a lot of bars and pubs. Although the room is well insulated, probably because we went on a Friday, we still had to use the earplugs provided by the hotel.

The bedroom was very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was functional and very good hygiene products were available (shampo/body gel, conditioner, toothbrush and toothpaste). The breakfast was diverse and were available continental and local options

It was very loud outside till 4am, a lot of bars and restaurants outside. Hotel provides earplugs but due to loud concert right under the windows it still wasn’t possible to have rest and sleep.

my shower did not work, but I got immediately a new room. So not really an issue :-)

really nice breakfast with local specialities and some really nice to haves like salmon and fresh juiced smoothies. Nice and cozy interieor (breakfast room is like a distillary/brewery) and also the rooms are very nice. Located in the city center of Katowice in walking distance to many nice restaurants. Extremely nice and helpful staff at the reception. I had an issue with the taxi company (only wanted to sed the receipt to a polish mobile number). The reception helped me to sort the issue with them. Thanks again for that exceptional service.

It was a little bit noisy from the street as it was Friday and people were enjoying themselves but earplugs were provided what was really thoughtful. TV could have more channels but I'm being too picky anyway

The staff was just wonderful. Really polite, really friendly, really helpful. Food at the restaurant was splendid and breakfast amazing. The location really good. Not far away from the railway station and the vibrant centre of the city

The location was great, and the hotel is beautiful and comfortable. And the hotel & restaurants staff was friendly and professional. Especially Natalia, who was really accommodating & spends her time giving me the best recommendations. The food in the hotel restaurants was amazingly good, the best burger in town, and the breakfast buffet was rich and tasty, especially the croissants, wow yummy.

Everything was perfect for me. However as Hotel is located on a street with bars and restaurants there might be some street noise but from my room there was very little.

Hotel is centrally located in Katowice from Katowice train station it is approximately 15 minute walk to the Hotel. Best Western Hotel Mariacki is located on a street where there are bars and restaurants so it is easy to find somewhere to eat and go for drinks. Single room was compact, clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, great choice for everyone and very fresh. The receptionists also recommended us places to eat and were very kind and friendly. We ate dinner in the restaurant beside the hotel and food was excellent. We enjoyed our short stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

The location on the main street can have some disadvantages, especially during the weekend when people party out in the local pubs / clubs.

Nicely located, well maintained hotel. Adjacent restaurant where you can eat something or have a local beer. My wife appreciated Rituals toiletries in the bathroom.

The only thing was that the shower wasn’t tightened well and kept falling, so we had to keep it on the floor.

It’s a nice small hotel right in the touristic area, so all the bars and cafes are within 2 min walk. We stayed during the weekdays, so there wasn’t any noise from surrounding bars/clubs (people texting about it in reviews probably stayed on Friday, so keep that in mind). The hotel staff was nice and polite, the room was small, but good and clean.

Cannot say much only negative we wanted to get something to eat at 21:45 but were informed by thei waiter that the restaurant kitchen closes at 22:00 which technically we could have been able to order something simple or perhaps when checking in they could state this about kitchen closing 22:00. Did not want to be fussy and there are however many takeway/fast food places around the hotel (the barthere closes 23:00 so we managed to have a drink)

The hotel was very centrally located in Mariacki street which was a 10-15minute walk from the main station and shopping mall, were the main square is also there with the Christmas market Breakfast was extra charge and we eventually decided to take it but was worth it you got many options to choose from and we certainly not dissapointed.

This was a really nice, modern, cosy hotel right in the heart of the Katowice bar and restaurant district. A short walk from the Rynek (Market Square) and train station. There are brand new carrousel style car parks right at the back entrance to the hotel if you want to hire a car. The very cute Harry Potter themed Alahamora cafe was right outside the rear entrance too.

The parking ! I know parking at a city centre hotel can be both in short supply and expensive. It is great you can drop off your bags befors parking ,but be warned the car park that the hotel have an arrangement with is hard to find and you have the tram lines to navigate

The breakfast was first class, a super range of foods both hot and cold for breakfast in an interesting dining room
