How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Breakfast options limited. Only one flavor of yogurt. Coffee was too bitter.
Great price for what was offered when compared to others nearby. The location was easy to find. The parking was easy to navigate.

Stayed multiple days. We had to ask to have our room cleaned. Lower level room was dark and not all the lights worked. Noisy neighbors the first night we stayed.
Rooms recently renovated. Under new ownership. New owner was attentive. Looked like more improvements we’re planned.

Beds were quite soft. Not hot tub in the winter.
The mini-fridge had a dedicated freezer, instead of the mini freezer in the fridge. Good price.

We were close to the front desk and there was this automated registration machine that was very loud and disturbing during the night.
The price was great for Glenwood Springs in winter. The host at the front desk was helpful and exchanged our room when someone had smoked in our original room.

The main door to the hotel room allowed a lot of light to come into the room. So we placed a towel at the bottom of the door. Just a standard hotel room.
The breakfast was a typical continential breakfast. The area where the breakfast was located was cold due to being right at the main entrance door.

some things in bathroom could be patched up, the smell when first entering the room was kinda sweaty smell, the breakfast was super super basic, just bread, bagel, cereal, milk, coffee, and juice

Unfortunately we were unable to use the TV. Turned out the remote had no batteries. In the lobby, there was a TV playing FOX News. There wasn't any available remote control or channel changer to switch networks. With all the controversy over the questionable programming on FOX, it is surprising that a reputable hotel chain would choose this media to greet their guests while checking in and having breakfast. The major networks or CNN have a much better track record for reporting actual news.
The location was ideal for our travel plans, and the price was a good value. The room was easily accessible and clean, well furnished, and comfortable.

Simple hotel, no frills, rooms are small but comfortable. Simple breakfast is provided. Good value for money. Great option if you need a place to sleep and you do not want to pay the crazy prices in the valley

Several things that made stay unpleasant: - Noise of snow plow very early in the morning interrupted several nights of sleep. I didn’t see the need to plow a back parking lot that no one uses! - Breakfast was very poor :( just a couple of choices of cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread, and that’s it! Not worth the price paid. - Housekeeping was also very poorly done. Limited to doing bed (same sheets used) and removing trash. Did not clean bathroom or floors. I had spills of coffee that were there when I returned and housekeeping had been done.
Overall, hotel appeared clean and kept. Staff was friendly.

You can hear the water running through the pipes when nearby rooms take a shower or use the faucet. This woke me up at night as it is quite loud.
It was pretty quiet, decently priced, and had a good location.

Breakfast fruit ran out every time. There is Donuts, muffins, cornflakes and fruit. as we are GF we are dependent on fruit which wasn't quite available.
Beautiful clean rooms, very friendly staff, comfortable beds. great location, 5 driving minutes from downtown. New owners (?) renovating the hotel and its definitely getting there
